The890 engine is about as good as a p twin can get, esp after an intake and tune. The Duke is significantly sharper and peppier than my adventure, and is just as nimble as they come. The 1290r is just a different thing, man. I've had hayabusa's, r1's, an ebr 1190, z1000, etc. NOTHING feels like a 1290 sdr.
